Horton – Port Eynon. The two names are for two ends of the same bay. You can park at either end, but the waves and the facilities are better at Port Eynon. It is better to sail at low tide because there is usually no wind shadow and the winds are stronger. However, beginners may prefer to sail at high tide because it is possible to sail for longer and there are lighter winds, which creates perfect conditions for learning. Most westerly wind directions work but SW is best.
Getting there: Follow the A4118 W from Swansea and Port Eynon is just off the end of the road
